Crop productivity observation field

       Taking the conventional cropping system in the North China Plain as the object, the crops and patterns include 5 planting patterns: wheat-corn rotation, wheat-soybean rotation, corn-corn rotation, single cotton, and single soybean. The focus is to obtain the mechanism of the influence of climate element changes on crop productivity in North China through long-term observations on the basis of ensuring adequate supply of soil water and fertilizer without water and fertilizer stress, so that long-term data accumulation can be used to provide meteorological element matching calibrations for crop growth and yield formation, and to provide optimal have calibration parameters for crop growth models.

       The sample plot has 14 plots, each plot is 7.5m×40m, with a construction area of 4200 m2. The integrated water and fertilizer system is used to ensure adequate real-time supply of water and fertilizer to the soil.
