The integrated observation field was built in 1985,monitoring of water, soil, air and other elements related to farmland ecosystems. The environmental conditions are consistent with large field cultivation, and the terrain is flat and open, with good representativeness under the existing local natural conditions. This observation field was the first experimental field in China to install eddy covariance flux system to carry out moisture and CO2 flux observations in farmland, and later joined the installation and observation of ChinaFLUX standard instrumentation. The largest moisture vaporimeter in Asia at that time was also deployed in this experimental field, which was developed independently and was also the field with the longest observation time of large vaporimeter, forming the best combined observation field for moisture evapotranspiration observation research with the large water surface evaporation field in this field, and becoming the only comprehensive observation platform of agricultural field evapotranspiration that integrates large vaporimeter, large water surface evaporation field and flux observation system in China. According to the monitoring requirements of the CNERN integrated observation field, parameters such as crop traits, yield and production value, biomass and leaf area dynamics need to be measured during the crop harvesting period, and parameters such as crop root biomass in the cultivated layer, crop root distribution characteristics, crop root and leaf element content and calorific value need to be measured during the crop reproductive period. Farmland environment survey, including farmland replanting index and crop rotation system in typical plots, farmland irrigation system, farmland main crop types, pesticides, herbicides, growth agents and other inputs, farmland main crop fertilizer inputs, tillage methods, sowing methods and sowing volume and other management measures. At the same time, soil exchange, soil nutrients, soil mineral total, soil trace elements, heavy metals, soil fast-acting trace elements, soil mechanical composition, soil bulk weight and carbon seasonal dynamics of farmland soil microbial biomass were sampled and determined. The indicators of diving water quality, surface water quality, groundwater level, soil moisture characteristic curve, soil neutron moisture and soil drying moisture, which affect soil structure and crop growth, are monitored regularly. To provide data for CNERN's long-term networking research on China's farmland ecosystems.
